The Furniture Society's 2009 annual conference was held at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC, June 10-June 13, 2009.
The 2009 Furniture Society Conference concluded on the evening of Saturday, June 13th, 2009. By all accounts and measures it was entirely successful in terms of the venue, the program, the participants and the general satisfaction of the attendees. Only the weather failed to cooperate, and then but briefly. Many thanks to Appalachian State University and the other sponsors of this conference, the many Assistants, all of the presenters and participants, and especially to co-chairs Kern Maas and Banks Talley for all their hard work.
