About My Work
My work grows from the relationship between the artist and the processes, materials, and environments of production. I approach the work by addressing an article or material, then build out from that beginning. In this way all additional steps, materials, or changes in direction are related to the whole by means of a visceral connection born in the process of construction. By allowing every work to grow and respond to emotional, environmental, and material circumstances each piece becomes an independent entity.
