FS2010: FUSIONS COMES TO A CLOSE
This year's annual conference was a great success. From presentations to panels, Table Fights to Tuna + Olives, Six Degrees to Outdoor Furniture, Naga to SAC, attendees enjoyed participating in the various programs highlighting this year's five themes. FS2010: FUSIONS
The 2010 Furniture Society Conference, Fusions: Minds & Hands Shaping Our Future, will convene June 16-19 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge. The cultural richness of Boston with its many galleries, museums and educational institutions will greatly enhance the 2010 conference proceedings taking place on the MIT campus.

FS2010: Fusions is all about the fluid relationships between mind and hand, tool and material, maker and client, technique and theory. In focusing on the theme of fusion—the merging of diverse, distinct elements into a unified whole—the conference will bring together makers and designers, collectors, educators and curators to address the role of furniture in today's society as well as the historical context and future of contemporary furniture.

This is up to a $95 value, and is an easy way to get a glimpse of the spectacular work coming from the members of these two organizations.
To get your pass:
Go to the registration desk at either event and provide proof that you have registered for the corresponding event (i.e. proof of a Symposium registration brought to the Society's FUSIONS event and vice versa). Proof may include a credit card receipt, registrations badge, email confirmation from the AAW or FS, etc. Once your proof has been verified, you qualify for a $50 single day pass. It's simple, it's easy, and we all look forward to having you at both events.
